Dr. Richard W. Scher founded Care Connection in 1998 to focus on the non-medical, safety and emotional concerns of the geriatric population. Having treated seniors for over 30 years, he realized that so many require practical assistance or just need a helping hand to feel safe and secure.
Care Connection specializes in offering non-medical help with day-to-day tasks in a sensitive and concerned way. Matching and connecting the right caregiver to you or your family member is what we do best.
If you or a loved one is recovering from an illness and need assistance by a qualified companion at home,
in an assisted living facility or hospital for the short or long term, Care Connection will provide you with someone who is loving and trustworthy.

Richard Scher, Executive Director & Founder, Care Connection, Inc.
“Typically our clients are individuals who are medically able to remain in their home but simply need some practical assistance to do so. They do not require medical
or nursing care but they might be frail or might have some
physical and/or mental issues that prevent them from getting around their homes safely.
Providing some basic needs such as the meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, medication reminders, assisting that client through their home safely, taking them to doctor’s appointments,
on drives, etc. makes a world of difference. Just as
important, however, is establishing a relationship with
the client whereby the companion caregiver becomes a
trusted friend. They thrive when they do well in their own home.” |
| Our experienced care coordinators enjoy helping others.
Since we go the extra mile to take care of our
companions, and make sure the case works for
them clients in turn enjoy exceptional care on
their end. By conducting a lengthy interview with the client and family, we will listen and respond to your needs to make the appropriate match.
Because we are a small company with years of home care experience, Care Connection can give you the personal attention you deserve.
